Provide Career Exposure, Internships and Jobs

Internship Opportunities

The students we serve often lack the social and professional networks available to their more affluent peers. Accordingly, they have very limited access to internships and other meaningful employment opportunities. Our high school and college students are in need of internships and jobs during both the academic year and summer months. If your company or organization identifies opportunities that would be appropriate for our students - in areas such as business, healthcare, law, social work, science or education - please contact us.

To help level the playing field for our collegians, each summer we also have a Career Futures internship initiative. With partner companies and organizations, Philadelphia Futures collegians are placed in paid Career Futures internships, for a minimum of 25 hours per week for six weeks. If you are interested in hosting one or more Philadelphia Futures collegians in a Career Futures internship during the summer, please contact Amy Perez, Director of College Retention and Success, at 215-790-1666 ext. 448 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Providing career exposure is also a great way to help our students. You can help students prepare for the workforce by conducting mock interviews and assisting with resumes.
