SAS College Kick-Off Event – Class of 2010

This important event will help build bridges for college success and highlight vital skills necessary for the transition to college. All members of the SAS Class of 2010 are required to attend. For more information, please contact your SAS Coordinator.
Overnight Leadership Development Program – Class of 2013
Thursday, August 19th – Friday, August 20th, 2010
Students participating in this exciting program will learn more about personal responsibility, goal setting, team building and leadership development. Attendance at this special overnight activity is required for all rising sophomores. For more information, please contact your SAS Coordinator.

Class of 2011 - Juniors
Eastern Futures – “Environmental Science Internship”
Begins Thursday, July 1st, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Internships run from July 6th - August 13th from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM the first and last weeks, and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM all other weeks.
Class of 2012 - Sophomores
Temple Futures – “Business and Entrepreneurship”
Begins Wednesday, July 7th, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Classes will be held July 8th – August 4th from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Tutoring
Tutoring opportunities will resume in the fall semester.
SAS Activities
Meetings of the SAS Book Club will resume in September. Watch your Spotlight for announcements regarding Film Series and Game Nights.
Game Night!
SAS students, parents and mentors are invited to join us for evenings of food, fun, and games galore! Game Nights will take place Thursday, August 5th, 12th and 26th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Philadelphia Futures office. Contact Adrienne Whaley (ext. 12) for more information.
