Get in the Game 2020 is Postponed

Dear Friends of Philadelphia Futures,

I hope this note finds you safe and healthy.

Thank you for supporting our students and their college dreams. We are grateful for your partnership in this work, and in particular, for our annual Get in the Game event.

As you know, Philadelphia Futures is intentionally preparing for COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Philadelphia and endeavoring to protect our students, staff, and stakeholders. Given the recent guidance around large gatherings from both the city and the CDC, and in partnership with the Phillies, we are postponing Get in the Game, which was originally scheduled for April 19, 2020.

For you, our most loyal sponsors and supporters, we hope you’ll stick with us and join us at a later date!  Your Get in the Game contribution is an investment in the intentional and proven supports we offer first-generation, low-income students gain admission to and succeed in college.  However, should you wish to seek a refund, please contact Korinne Gerhart at

We are in communication with the Phillies about rescheduling the event, and will be in touch as soon as we have more details. In the meantime, please be in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
